Depression and Anxiety

My aim is to create a sense of hope and help you find meaning. Together, we can challenge your thoughts and beliefs that may be holding you back. I have worked with folks who struggle with social anxiety, agoraphobia and depression. As someone that used to struggle with social anxiety, I know from experience how overwhelming it can be. I’m here to tell you that it is possible to overcome your fears and be confident.

Eating Disorder Treatment

If you struggled with your relationship with food, body image, disordered eating or food rules, I’m here with years of experience, to help guide you to recovery if you’re ready. I’m here to help you process your history with your relationship with food and explore how you learned unhealthy patterns.

Grief and Trauma Work

Trauma work is very personalized and unique to each individual. Depending on the severity, I will build a connection with you where you feel comfortable and where we have built enough rapport that you explore your narrative. I strive to decrease flashbacks and dissociation by teaching you coping skills. I believe it’s important that you share your story at a pace that is customized to you.

Making meaning out of grief can be one of the best ways to cope with loss. Whether you’re grieving from a break up, a death of a loved one, or grieving a childhood you wish you had, I’m here to listen and guide you toward growth and acceptance.

Interpersonal Relationships/Communication Issues

I believe connection is one of the most essential ways to combat mental illness. I will increase your sense of community and get you more connected with friends and loved ones, so that one day, you won’t need a therapist anymore. You’ll be able to be vulnerable with your social circle and will have coping skills to maintain your healthy self. When you don’t have the proper tools to communicate, life can be a lot harder to navigate. I’m here to help you increase your satisfaction in relationships whether that be friendships, family or romantic relationships. I can teach you how to assertively communicate your needs and wants with people that are most important to you.
